Everything you need to know about your ocean adventure
Absolutely! You don't need to be a swimmer to try scuba diving. During Discover Scuba, you'll stay in shallow water (max 12m/40ft) with an instructor holding you the entire time. Many of our best divers started as non-swimmers. If you can breathe and follow instructions, you can dive!
Fear of water is completely normal! We start in shallow, controlled environments where you can stand up anytime. Our instructors specialize in working with nervous first-timers. You control the pace—no pressure, no rushing. Many anxious beginners leave as confident ocean lovers.
Your safety is our priority. You can surface anytime by signaling your instructor. We teach emergency procedures before every dive, practice them in shallow water, and your instructor stays within arm's reach. You're never alone, and there's always a safe way up.
Not at all! We have certified divers from age 10 to 70+. You don't need gym muscles—just reasonable health. If you can walk, climb stairs, and don't have serious heart/lung conditions, you can likely dive. We assess your health with a simple questionnaire before booking.
No problem! You can wear contacts while diving, or we have prescription masks available. Just let us know your vision needs when booking, and we'll make sure you see every colorful fish and coral clearly!
Safety first, always. If weather conditions are unsafe, we'll contact you ASAP to reschedule for free or offer a full refund—your choice. We monitor weather closely and have backup dive sites for different conditions. Don't worry, Cebu has great weather year-round!
Discover Scuba takes 3-4 hours total (briefing, shallow practice, boat ride, dive, debrief). Certification courses run 2-3 days. Island hopping is 4-6 hours. We're flexible with timing and can work around your schedule—just let us know your availability!
We try our best! If we have availability, yes. However, we recommend booking 2-3 days ahead, especially for groups or weekends. Message us on WhatsApp or Messenger anytime—we respond fast and will squeeze you in if possible!
